WeTrakr

Connect WeTrakr and learn what every sync option does, including the manual sync.

WeTrakr is another place to keep your watching history. Hegemon can read from it and write back to it.

Connect#

Open Settings → App Settings → Accounts and select WeTrakr.
Choose Connect on Android TV. Hegemon shows a QR code and a code to enter on the WeTrakr site.
Approve the access. The screen shows User: your name under Connected account.

If the code expires or is rejected, start again. If sign-in cannot start, try again later.

Every option explained#

Sync watched history, watchlist and in-progress shows#

A Sync Now button. It pulls your watched movies and shows, your watchlist and your in-progress shows from WeTrakr, and reports Synced N items.

WeTrakr does not allow a full-account sync every time the app starts, so this one is manual. Run it when you want to refresh.

Calendar Sync#

On: Pulls the upcoming episodes of the shows you track on WeTrakr.
Off: Nothing is pulled.

For now this is used for sync only and is not shown on a calendar screen.

Sync Watch Status#

On: When you mark a movie, a show, an episode or a whole season Watched or Unwatched in Hegemon, the change is also sent to WeTrakr.
Off: Your marks stay in Hegemon only.

Progress Sync (Watch Next)#

On: WeTrakr is the source for your resume points and the Watch Next row.
Off: Hegemon uses another source, see Sync and scrobble.

Only one service can own progress. Turning this on turns off Trakt and Simkl progress.

Global Scrobble#

On: Hegemon records what you watch in other apps and sends it to WeTrakr as you watch. It needs notification access.
Off: Nothing is recorded from other apps.

Sync this list with WeTrakr#

A switch available on your own lists. It keeps that list in step with WeTrakr.

Disconnect#

Removes Hegemon's access on this device.
