Navigate with the remote
The top bar, focus and the long-press shortcuts that make Hegemon quick to use with a remote.
Hegemon is built for the remote. The D-pad moves focus, OK selects and Back goes back.
The top bar#
From left to right:

The Settings panel#
The gear opens a panel with App Settings, System Settings (this one opens Android's settings), the clock, the weather, on TVs your external inputs (HDMI and so on), and your notifications. See Settings map.
Shortcuts worth knowing#
- Long-press Back opens the QuickApps dock.
- Long-press OK on a title card for more options: mark as watched, follow a series, add to a list or send it to a friend. See Titles and details.
- On a row, press Left from the first item to refresh or move that row. See Rows.
- In Discover, use the filter button, then the save button to turn your filters into a list you can show on Home.
- On the Apps screen, long-press an app for more options.
