Subscription

How the free trial and the subscription work, and how to manage or cancel it from Google Play.

Hegemon is a subscription app. The subscription supports its development and gives access to the full set of features.

Free trial#

New users get a 7-day free trial. You can cancel any time during the trial in Google Play and you will not be charged.

Plans#

When the trial ends, or when you open a locked feature, the subscription screen offers a choice of plan:

Monthly
6 months
12 months

The price is shown in your own currency by Google Play. Some features, such as configuring streaming providers, need an active subscription.

Manage or cancel#

Payments are handled completely by Google Play. To change or cancel:

Open Google Play on your phone or TV.
Go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Choose Hegemon and follow the steps.

Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

If your subscription expires#

You will see a screen explaining that the subscription has ended, with a Renew button. Your settings and library on the device are kept.

Payment problems#

If a payment fails, Google Play can give you a grace period in which the app keeps working. Hegemon then shows a Payment issue message. Update the payment method in Google Play to continue without interruption.
